Studio Dónde
We worked with our friends at WMW Studio on the rebranding of their interior practice as they transitioned into a new chapter under the name Studio Dónde. Established in 2021, the studio evolved from a shared interest in belonging and connection—principles that continue to guide their work across interior design, furniture design, FF&E design, and consultancy. As part of this evolution, Studio Dónde introduces Object Teller, a curated extension of the brand that brings together furniture, home accessories, and materials sourced from different parts of the world.
The goal of the project was to reframe the studio with a new name, clearer values, and a refined visual direction. We drew on the material language and cultural awareness present in their earlier work to reorganize the studio into four distinct yet connected areas: spatial and regional cultural research, furniture design and development, an online store and physical showroom, and the documentation of craftsmanship. This structure offers new ways for clients and collaborators to engage with the brand, while also broadening its reach and deepening its relationship with materials and process.
The visual identity borrows from the textures and tones of the studio’s interiors. The logo was built using intersecting fine lines that reference the precision and layering found in their work. A serif typeface supports this with a quiet sense of permanence and care. The colour palette—deep blues and earth tones—was selected to reflect the materials they often return to, evoking a sense of calm, tactility, and rootedness. Each element was developed to sit closely alongside the studio’s craft-led approach, creating a visual language that feels both grounded and expansive.
